After watching last nights game I realized a few things about this team.

1) McDaniels was a huge loss. We have no identity on the offensive side of the ball. I think the play calling Stinks.

2) Maroney sucks. One of the worst 1st round picks in recent memory. We have to replace him in either free Agency "Stephen Jackson " or the 1st Round pick in 2010.

3) Loss of Seymour, Vrabel, Harrison and Bruschi is huge. No leadership on the side of the ball.

4) No pass rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ca!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5) Rt tackle stinks and Left Tackle with Volmer being out is average at best. Volmer gets back it will get better.

I think we need to get more talent in the first round. We can not build a team with a bunch of 3,4 and 5th round picks.

OH MY TORTURE

1) I agree. The Broncos aren't tearing up the league, but he's doing it with Kyle Orton at QB. McDaniels has a great offensive mind.

2) Again, I agree. He's ok, but not special. He's John Stephens or Sedrick Shaw.

3) I disagree. Those guys are old. Two of them are retired and the other two might as well be. Mayo is a disappointment, and so are Burgess, Thomas, Banta-Cain, Woods, and Guyton. All of the LBs suck! Merriweather and Chung will be good though.

4) See #3. They need LBs.

5) The Pats OL has always been overrated. When they lose somebody, they stink. But I really didn't see anything that bad from them last night.

I hate to say it, but they miss Gaffney. Say what you want, but he was better than Aiken. Galloway and Lewis just failed to fill Gaffney's shoes. I can't believe I'm saying that...

I know I missed the meetup... But I have to say that Meriweather (with the exception of the blown coverage for the touchdown) looked pretty good and so did the corners... There's not a lot you can do about great throws, and Brees was on fire.

I would not usually support Maroney, but I thought he played very well last night (I'm still hoping #7 from Stanford will be in a Pats Jersey next season).

I don't know what to say about last night though... I am still in shock. I've seen them lose before, but I can't think of a game where they just got worked like that... Usually if they lose it's close and I can point to one play or an official's mistake... Last night we just got destroyed and it felt like 2012 came early.

We're going to have to score 100 on Sunday for me to feel any better.
