As doug posted on the message boards, we have a Web site set up as a central target for Dallas Patriots fans. It's dallaspatsfans.com, and I have been posting updates to the site to provide content for anyone who stumbles upon our site to entice them to join the fun, either through this meetup site or the facebook group (in case you didn't know, we have a facebook group too). Actually, Google picks the site up pretty well, so I think it is important to keep it active.

Now that it is the offseason, we need content for the Web site. Also, I think it would be nice to have other people author articles for the site, rather than have it only be me. So if you are interested in writing articles, please contact me. The site uses Wordpress, and I can create a user account to allow you to write something. I would like to see articles about who you think the Patriots should target in free agency, profiles about new players signed through free agency, who you think the Patriots should target in the draft, drafted player profiles, or just general sports talk.

I attempted to contact other fan clubs in the Dallas area about having combined events, such as flag football or softball games. Unfortunately, the organizers of the other groups have not responded. When the weather gets a little nicer, I will arrange an event for just the Patriots fans if we do not get a grudge match set up against another team.

In the meantime, I am open to other ideas. Either email me or post your ideas via the "Ideas" tab on the meetup site.
